Temperament: May be kept in pairs. Will occasionally act territorially towards other fish especially when spawning in aquaria. Not compatible with other species of clownfish.
General: Ocellaris clownfish are the bread and butter of marine reef aquariums. They are easy to keep, very common and easy to breed in captivity. Ocellaris clowns will readily host in nearly any type of anemone, and are easily paired up. As with most clownfish species, males will transform into females when one is lacking. Ocellaris may be differentiated from perculas by their less distinct black markings.
