Reef safe: No, will nip at nearly all corals and clam mantles.

Diet: Eats both animal foods and plant matter

Temperament: Not usually aggressive.

General: Gray angelfish grow to a very large size of 20 inches and therefore require large aquariums with plenty of liverock for grazing. They should not be kept with corals due to their tendency to nip at stony corals and clam mantles.
