French Angelfish

Size: 15 inches

Minimum tank size: 250 gallons

Reef safe: No, will nip at nearly all corals and clam mantles.

Diet: Eats both animal foods and plant matter

Temperament: Will usually dominate a tank.

General: French angelfish are another of the large angels which bear different marking when they mature. These large fish need a tank of at least 250 gallons with plenty of liverock to graze on. They should not be kept in reef tanks as they will nip at most corals and clam mantles.
