Since EcoTech Marine first started shipping the Radion XR30w LED lights, there has been anticipation for when the first bolt on upgrade parts would follow. It’s been anybody’s guess what would come first with the modular build style of the Radion, but we now have their first mod, focused optics, in hand as well as a good guess at what’s coming next.

Tunze LED Announced
There has been a bunch of new LEDs jumping into the industry lately, and it seems that they are coming from the most unlikely companies lately. This week Tunze announced that they would also be putting forth an LED offering in the form of a waterproof strip that will come in three forms.
Orphek DIF XP Series Gets Refined Before Final Release
Very recently I got the chance to review the brand new Orphek DIF50XP LED light before their final release. As you may have already seen, these pendants are the newest in the continued DIF series with refinements to get them into the full spectrum category.
Triton LED by Pacific Sun Announced
Pacific Sun is joining in this week to the pile of new LED lights with one called the Triton. This one will be dropping in on the high power and full spectrum end of the market with a combined power of 175 watts and ten different diodes used. Keeping with the trends, the Triton will also be controllable by several common means, eight channels, and should pack in the latest features hobbyists crave.
Mitras LED by GHL Finally Gets Pricing
Since GHL first released their Mitras LED, I’ve been wondering how much a light from this high end controller company would cost. GHL put this to rest today by announcing the official pricing of the Mitras as well as some more information about output.

Joining in on all the LED releases this week is Maxspect with a new one called the Razor LED. This one is aimed at hitting the high performance of the Maxspect name while hitting an amazing price point that will land it in everyone’s budget. The sleek, active cooled, fully programmable Razor will sport some of the best diodes available while still bearing a price that may compete with T5 fixtures.
Elos E-Lite 3s and E-Lite 3L Added to Upcoming LED Light
It seems like the list of upcoming LED lights has grown incredibly lately, and this week Elos announced that the E-Lite 3 LED line would be their addition. This fully modular, customizable and fully controllable fixture should be a top-notch entry to the market with the Elos heritage of super high-end behind it.
