Difficulty Level: Elegance coral was once consider easy to care for, but recent specimens are getting harder and harder to care for. It’s believed that wild populations may have been weakened by aquarium collection. They are typically recommended for the advanced hobbyist with a specialized system.
Feeding: Elegance corals are extremely aggressive eaters with very capable tentacles. They will easily catch and consume most food types including frozen, liquid and even pellets. Take care as their feeding aggression can sometimes be taken out on neighboring corals.
Lighting (4 to 8): Elegance coral lighting ranges depending on the specimen and where it was collected. They can be found in a broad range of lighting and may adapt to many different conditions. as with other corals, take time to acclimate them to your lighting.
Water flow: Moderate water flow.
Placement: Elegance corals are very aggressive, so be careful to give them plenty of space.
General: Elegance corals like slightly dirtier water with plenty of nutrients.
