Current USA is finally getting ready to update their show stopping Solona tank line with some new rimless high clarity glass cubes. The Solona line was the first all-in-one nano system to feature the rimless looks that everyone else is  mirroring. The new tank design certainly has looks on its side, but at this point it should also be drawing a lot of questions about just what its applications will be.

Rimless looks are, of course, the top of line right now, but the thing that caught my eye first is the lack of an overflow system or built in filtration. The new Solona is, simply put, a glass cube. I’m hoping there is some future plans for filtration on these ones, and will of course keep you updated if anything comes up.

Just hours after posting this, another picture shined a little bit of light on what may be to come. As you can see below, there are return loc-line fittings in the tank pictured. this would certainly suggest that either built in filtration or an overflow will be available on at least some of these tanks.
