My Soundtrack To The Reef Part 2

clowns in nem

To start the second part of My Soundtrack To The Reef this week I’ll be changing pace a bit from last week. The first two tracks are by one of my current favorite bands, Enemies. This Irish instrumental rock group blew my mind the first time I heard them. Their music is melodic and emotive; more than enough to get your foot tapping to the beat. Here is a video of Enemies doing what they do best. Jamming.

More tracks to come after the break!

Here is another great song by Enemies off of their 2010 release “We’ve Been Talking.” I can’t praise this band enough for this album. Give it a listen.

Time to get back to some relaxing tunes. For those of you reefers and music enthusiasts that follow the UK music scene, this song will probably be very familiar to you. Caspa and Rusko have been huge since dubstep went global. In this track they slow down the beat and layer in some of best synth sounds I’ve ever heard.

It wouldn’t be right for me to leave this out of the soundtrack. RIP Iz Kamakawiwoʻole.

This next track is by an Indianapolis based progressive metal band. I can’t imagine many people reading would find much of their other music to be calming, but this tune most definitely is.

Ill end part 2 the same way I started part 1. Another beautiful track by Helios. Nothing more needs to be said, his music speaks for itself.

Happy reefing everyone! If anyone has any tracks they would like recommend for My Soundtrack To The Reef, please feel free to do so!
