Coralife stepping it up.

Coralife released their latest led light that looks like it could pack a large punch. It is a 48″ fixture that houses 92 leds and it has a digital controller built into the fixture. It comes with legs as well as equipment to hang the light. With a price tag of $2,499 this light should be something to see, just make sure you bring your sunglasses.

I think I will try one of these guys out. Just need to check the spectrums they’re using

Aw crap they jacked my idea! I’m already halfway done with modding my Coralife pro.

Judging by the other LEDs that have come out from other large manufacturers, yours will be better. They always seem to miss something in an attempt to go for something grand.

It’s just funny because that is pretty much what I was going to do as far as heatsink placement goes.
As for the LED’s themselves I am going to dup the Radion layout with a twist.

I can’t believe this unit is over 2k. Surely anyone with half a brain would put Radions or Mazarra over their tank if they had kind of cash to spend on manufactured fixtures.

I guess great minds think alike.

The price is a bit on the crazy side. I don’t think entering a whole new section of the market with a product that’s the most expensive on the market is very wise.

I do like the fact that the fixture holds arrays rather than a bunch of LEDs spread out.
